THE 2009 AUDUBON BEEKEEPING SCHOOL

The 2009 Audubon Beekeeping School will be held on March 7, 2009 at the Henderson Co. Co-op Extension Expo Center on St. Rt. 351 E. in Henderson, KY.  The 2009 school will have Dr. Larry Connor, renowned author, honeybee specialist and owner of Wicwas Press, as opening guest speaker and special instructor throughout the day.

The 2009 KSBA Spring Meeting will also be held in conjunction with the Audubon Beekeeping School this year.

The school will offer 4 classes for each of these levels – beginner beekeepers, intermediate, advanced and women (or non-beekeepers).  A final session with multiple instructors/advisors called “The Round Table Discussions” will conclude the day’s instructions and will offer something for everyone.   A pre-registration form is now ready by accessing http://www.stonehillhoney.com/registration , by contacting Betsy Stone at bpstoneky@bellsouth.net using bee school on subject line, or by contacting the KSBA website.  If you prefer, you may call Betsy at 270-826-2767 for more information.  Pre-registration fee is $10.00 and includes lunch.  We plan to have Dadant Beekeeping Supplies Co. and the Walter T Kelley Bee Supplies Co., as well as Dr. Connor’s booth, at the school for your convenience, in addition to a small trade show of venders with a variety of supplies, equipment and books.
